ROASTING CHESTNUTS
A short distance from the centre of Bridlington is an area known as the "Old Town". This is a wonderfully historic and fascinating area with a fine selection of olde worlde houses and shops.
Each year it hosts a Victorian or Edwardian festival and attracts street traders who dress and act the part. This picture is of "The chestnut seller".
This interesting contraption emits a wonderful aroma of roasting chestnuts and hot coals. It always does a brisk trade!
